Boys Deserve Better is one year old.

It has been a year since Devon started Boys Deserve Better. Jeff joined shortly and then three months later Devon pulled me out of Intactivist nowhere (from my tiny page back then when I was only starting my activism). One year seems like nothing on one hand, but it also means a whole year of graphics and posts that helped some people open their eyes on the harms of infant circumcision. One year means that some kids somewhere have been saved from this torture because their parents managed to get exposed to our work. (And we just love getting messages from grateful parents who kept their boys whole thanks to our posts and/or graphics.)
Is it easy running a page like this one? Does it get exhausting at some point to constantly think and read about this horrific crime committed daily against innocent children, knowing there is not much you can do to save that particular child at that very moment? Do we ever burn out? It is NOT easy, it IS exhausting, and I personally burn out and need to take breaks regularly, unlike Devon who can keep going forever. But is it all worth it? Definitely. Knowing that you are making a difference in the lives of others is the reason why we are still doing this .
So, thank you to Devon for getting us all into this wonderful mess one year ago, and thank you to all of you for your support, your comments, your shares, your stories, your kind words and for your tireless efforts to make this world a better place for little boys. Because Boys Deserve Better!
